Capped Curtain Walling System

With an extensive range of profiles and accessories, Capped curtain walling systems is one of the most comprehensive curtain walling ranges on the market today. Were minimalist lines through sheer glazed facades is a design requirement.

The design variants offer curtain walling for both the exterior and the interior of the building. The glazing variants range from standard pressure plates, structurally glazed and structurally clamped facades. The extensive range meet all the requirements of contemporary architecture. Regarding energy performance, the curtain wall offers different solutions, allowing the use of triple glazing making the facade applicable for passive house or energy efficient buildings. In addition to that, dedicated opening types can also be seamlessly integrated.

Structual Glazing

Structual glazing is a proven 50mm system that has the potential of providing bespoke solutions that exceed even the most stringiest testing regimes.

Unlike Capped Curtain walling, this is a proven system that has the potential of providing bespoke solutions exceeding current capability is now a reality. To provide a flexible approach to aluminium facade engineering, with 50 mm standardised sight-lines with options for 4 sided structural glazing, 2 sided structural glazing with horizontal (SGH) or vertical (SGV) capping, concealed vents which maintain the slim 50 mm sight - lines.

Unitised Curtain Walling

Unitized curtain walls entail factory fabrication and assembly of panels and may include factory glazing. These completed units are installed on the building structure to form the building enclosure.

Unitized curtain wall has the advantages of: speed; lower field installation costs; and quality control within an interior climate-controlled environment. The economic benefits are typically realized on large projects or in areas of high field labour rates.

In unitised construction, on the other hand, the curtain wall is composed of large units that are assembled in the factory, transported to the site and erected on the building. Aluminium profiles are used to form the frame. Opening vents, glazing and infill panels are built into units before being transported to site. As with stick construction, each unit is usually supported by the floor or perimeter beams.
